Cordelius Mitchell, born December 16th 1780 on Ashbourne, is the oldest son of the Mitchell family, who are known for their foal breeding farm in their town. He grew up along his younger brother Paul, helping out in their farm. While he grew up he didn't get along with most of boys his age, as he was never understood in his socializing attempts, which resulted on him being more into the farming bussiness and developing a major interest on horses as they were the only ones that seemes to get along with him outside his family.
While his brother mainly helped to keep the stables clean and the organisation, Cordelius was mostly in charge of taking care of the horses and training them.
They both enlisted to the 23rd Regiment of Foot in 1804 to have a better paying job. Even if Paul actually was more into the militery life, Cordelius never quite liked it and could only think of the simpler times back at their town. He could only think of the end of his service to go back home.
They both were present on the siege of San Sebastian, on which Paul died to a French soldier during battle. Angered, Cordelius wanted to directly comfront the regiment responsible for it, unfortunately, he was locked up along other soldiers on a fort of the city.
About him
He has trouble to both read and express emotions, which leads to people thinking he is just angry or upset most of the time. He's also not very talkative, but once you get his trust or stay long enough, Cordelius is more eager to talk or socializing in general.
Trivia
Has a Barb mare named Wind, however, she is at his farm because Cordelius didn't want to put her in risk.
He was married but divorced.
Only knows a handful of words in Portuguese that Emiliano taught him.
Has considered cutting his hair with his axe.
He was the responsible for putting down his brother after he turned into a runner. Cordelius still blames himself for letting Paul die on the first place and having to kill him.

About him
He is kind and talkative to most people, but knows when to shut up. Usually he engages with both soldiers of his regiment and from allies. Emiliano is not very open to discuss about his past however, usually dismissing any questions about it as he considers 'is not as relevant as others'. Overall he is a very attentive person, lending a hand when he can.
Trivia
Only engages in religious stuff because of his regiment. Outside it, he is very opposed to catholicism.
Despite liking birds, he doesn't like them being caged up.
Knows English because of the particular classes he had.
Lost his eye to a runner and has more marks around his body because of various reasonds.

When he was getting enrolled, he had to think fast of a name so he kept his first name.

Emiliano José Gomes de Almeida, born March 3rd 1782 on Lisboa, is the prodigy son of a wealthy family.
Wanting the best future for their son, along the survival of their legacy as directors of orchestras, Emiliano received particular classes since young and was educated on the musical arts.
While he enjoyed playing instruments, he despised that he never felt any of his pieces ever belonged to him, as he saw them as part of his parent's wishes, along the fact that all the 'friends' he made on his childhood were only sons of their family's friends and none of them was really interested on more than the necesary. The only time he managed to make a real connection was on the way to one of his presentations. The boy's name was Ilán, and while they got to talk a little, it was enough for Emiliano to see that he wasn't living his own life, and it was rather just a reflection of his parent's wishes.
When his parents arranged a marriage for him, however, was the final drop that made him decide to get out of that stiffling family enviorment. He decided to enroll to the Regimento de Infantaria N. 2 as a musician to escape from the pressure of his parents under the surname Vala. Eventually, he participated on the siege of San Sebastian, being locked up with other soldiers.

Miroslav Isaev, born February 2nd 1778 on Moscow, is the second child of Isaev Ilich, an officer from a high class. His beliefs were simple: obligations and pride come first over all other things. So when both of his sons could walk, he trained and shaped them to become well-formed soldiers on the Russian Empire. Nikolai, being the older and stronger of both, ended up receiving more attention and therefore the title of officer instead of Miroslav. This didn't anger him however, only helping him to fuel his devotion to the hard work and training. At the end he became a cuirassier from the Ekaterinoslavskiy Kirasirskiy Polk, though inside he still wanted more.
Being a son of a renamed man, he spent most of his life attending to balls of the high class. There he met her,
Before Miroslav went to fight the Napoleonic forces, they made the promise to reunite and have children. Before they could, a blight outbreak happened and she was infected and Miroslav had to kill her. After that, his brain, in an attempt to cope with the memory, blocked the event completely and altered their main memories together.
